I'm having a very tough time in math. I'm failing. I'm scared to ask my mom if I can be switched to basic math, though. (I'm in advanced, and it IS advanced stuff...even for me.) It's my first year of middle school.

Actually, it's mostly my tests. My homework's fine, and classwork too;
but my tests STINK. =/

Personally. I am the exact opposite. I am mid level at math homework. I hear there is a test tomorow i shrug my shoulder. Go home relax for no homework. Go in next day, get a high B to high A. Lucky arent i?

Ok, I did ask for that. But most topics we are (or were, as I left school ages ago) forced to learn seem pointless, why would we need to know algebra (2A+3B=5C)? Must be some rason but it's beyond me.

I am a whizz at all subjects, in fact i should probably own the world by now but im too lazy, i actually do much better at maths in tests and just today got back my scores from our last mock tests and beat everyone else in the year group. I only get lower than i am capable is probably because im too lazy in class and i sit at the computer making cool little graphics instead of revising. Hehe

I used to be really bad at math and this year I learned stuff quicker than when I wasn't home schooled.
