I envy you two. While I live with my parents I cant have a pet, not even a goldfish (don't even ask...).
As for a cat, My mother thinks they smell, my father says 'We aren't having one of them stupid things' and my brother just hates everyone and everything...
Bah, curse my family!

My brother isn't allowed to have his own pet because he'll forget about it.Kiki is his pet but he never takes care of her I clean the litterbox and he feeds the cats table food (humans food) and they end up making a huge mess in the litterbox.He never took care of his fish and he never took care of iguana and they both died,The fish and the iguana.My mom won't even get him another fish.My mom said when he's old enough to take care of his pet he will get one.
