"Well, since you just done a rather brave thing... I guess I had better come clean. I am not well looked after or well loved... Your owner was pretty much sclose to the truth. I am a streetrat." He looked at his own moggy reflection in a puddle. "My owner had a lupe too, and he painted it fire... after kicking me out..." By now Viktoria and Mez had started to search for Furrball and the Soup Faerie as they had been gone for quite some time.

The soup Faerie left the HQ and looked rather sad. "What's wrong?" Viktoria asked. "There's nobody there... they must all be out on an important mission..." Furrball looked blank at the ground, not knowing what to do. Then an idea struck him. "The Neopian Times, just publish an article about your sudden change of location in there. Everyone reads the NT... well, nearly everyone anyway."

The Soup Faerie's face lit up and she looked fondly at the little wocky. "Furrball, sometimes I feel so STUPID! Of course! Why didn't I think of it before?" she noticed Mez, Viktoria and Fara. "Oh, hello again. I don't believe I've met you, before, have I, little lupe?" Fara shook her feiry head. "No. I've never had to go to the Soup Kitchen before." "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you," the Soup Faerie smiled. She waved her sthingy in the air. "To the NT Publishers! That's in Mystery Island, right?"

"Erm... I am not sure..." The little Wocky sighed in embaressment. Mez chuckled at his sudden blush. "It is, yes. They used to have the NT Hq here in Neopia Central, but they had to change location because the Pant Devil caused them trouble." "So, how shall we get there?" Vik asked them.

Fara smiled. "I know an eyrie who works at the Eyrie Taxi Service. We might be able to hitch a ride." Mez flapped her wings. "I can fly there - I'll probably arrive before you four do since I won't have to take the Air Roads and I can book a hotel room. I hear Tiki Tours is offering accomodation now." "I'll come with you," added the Soup Faerie. "I am a faerie, you know. I can fly too." "Great!" Viktoria grinned. "We'll meet you two there. Show us the way to the Taxi Service, Fara!"

"It's over this way!" The Lupe lead the three to the centre of Neopia Central. A human male was running at high speed with tears in his eyes, it was Matty, Fara's owner. "Oh, maybe we should hurry!" Fara panicked. "There was a huge crowd in the building and the boy soon gave up searching. "Ok, its sorted. Our Eyrie is named Trevor. Let's go get ready! We have twenty minutes!" Viktoria told them.

They headed towards the depature lounge, a large airy room with wide windows looking out at the runway outside. Several eyries were lined up outside with Neopets climbing onto the contraption behind them. It was like a trailor with no roof and lots of seats inside. Each one was buckled up to the eyrie's waist. Viktoria pointed it out to Furrball and Fara. "Isn't it very heavy?" Furrball frowned, watching the eyries preen their feathers as they got ready to take off. "No," Viktoria assured him. "Eyries are very strong creatures, and most of them work out in the Battledome quite a lot. Trust me, you don't want to pick a fight with an eyrie. Come on, let's go get a drink before we go aboard. I'm thirsty."

"Yes, I havent drunk a Neocola since..." Furrball's eyes sadned again. "Your previous owner... What was he like?" Fara asked him. "He is... WAS kind and great. Once, but then he just stopped caring about me, and Wockies all together. He had all kinds of Wocky plushies and posters but he chucked them all away before he chucked me in the pound..." Viktoria noticed the arwkrard (spelling) situation and went back to topic. "Neocola, then?"

*awkward I hate that word. It's so ... awkward. "Neocola, yes, thanks," Fara said quickly. She nudged Furrball. "Oh. Yeah. Thanks," Furrball said distractedly. His bushy tail hung limp. Viktoria looked at him worriedly before ordering two neocolas and a cup of dung tea (XP) to the island skeith behind the counter. She carried their drinks back to their seats.

Furrball glugged his down in a few seconds and let out a rather inpolite belch. "Oops, pardon me, sorry about that." Fara laughed out loud. "Ew, what are you drinking?" Fara looked at Vik's cup. "You never had dung tea?" She asked. The Lupe had to turn away with sudden wheeze (difficulty to breathe, just so u know).
(Curse my poor spelling XD)

*wheeze Viktoria shrugged and continued to sip at the steaming green cup. Furrball put down his neocola can down and leaned back in his chair. Fara sat next to him, drinking hers in small gulps. A voice came over the Announcement System. " Attention ... attention ... passengers Viktoria LaLune, Furrball Von and Fara Hathaway ... LaLune, Von and Hathaway ... your eyrie taxi is leaving in five minutes for Mystery Island ... your eyrie taxi is leaving in five minutes for Mystery Island. Thank you." "That's us," said Viktoria. She got up and set her cup donw on the table next to her before leading the lupe and wocky to the Departure Doors.

"My surname... technically it isn't my surname anymore, as the surname comes from the pets owner..." Furrball sighed. "Anyway..." Fara started. "I hope you aren't afraid of high places, Furrball!" "Erm, never flown so i don't know." "It's great!" Vik cheered. "The wind really gets the fur blowing."

"Wind?" Furrball looked up at the sky nervously. "Are you sure this is safe?" "It's fine," Fara assured him. "I did it all the time with Matty." They walked over to where one of the eyries was sitting. A kacheek was helping him buckle the robe attatched to the trailerseats to his chest. "Just loop that one through here," he grunted, clicking his beak impatiently. He noticed Viktoria walking up to him. "Oh, hello. Are you my passengers today?" "Yep," Viktoria said cheerfully. "Trevor, right?" "That's me. Oi, careful!" he snapped at the kacheek, who had buckled the straps too tight.

The green Eyrie forced himself to bear the temporary pain. "Erm, I am starting to have second thoughts..." The little Wocky panicked. Trying new things like this always got him worked up. "You aren't afraid, are you?" Vik smiled. "Well... maybe a little..." Furrball was starting to take deeper breaths, to try and calm down. But he wasn't very successful. "All aboard!" The Kacheek yelled.
